A classic 1950s shirtwaist silhouette with a full, pleated skirt.  The bodice has black soutache and tiny black rhinestones that make the dress work for day or night.  French cuff sleeves.  The fabric is a lightweight polished cotton that has a bit of sheen.  The shirt closes with buttons down the bodice and snaps at the waist.
